Job Title:                         Summer Children and Youth Leader

Reports To:                     Pastor Adam Teske

Available Positions:       3 open positions for a full summer of work with flexibility.

Pay:                                   $12 - $14 /hr (about $3,000 for the summer)

Summary: We are seeking Summer Children and Youth Leaders, leaders that not only connect with kids in a creative ways and through summer projects help design and further the children and youth ministries Shepherd of the Lake. Leaders will also have the opportunity to work alongside our newest staff member, the Director of Student Ministries, as we begin the process of developing a high school student ministry program.

To succeed in this role, these leaders should have a flair for connecting with youth and high capacity to be a leader. You will collaborate with staff from different teams, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Two excellent advantages for the right candidate are the opportunity for a flexible work schedule and designing personal projects. While there are days and hours that must be met for programming, the remaining hours can be negotiated on when to be completed with your supervisor. Further, based on the skill sets the candidates desire to develop, this position allows for the flexibility in curating projects.
