Last month I was invited to be a panelist for the Interfaith Circle community event, "Who is My Neighbor?". The Interfaith Circle is a non-profit organization in the Southwest Metro whose mission is, "to celebrate the commonality and diversity of our faith traditions by fostering understanding and acceptance." It was an honor to be a part of this important conversation, and a beautiful reminder that at the heart of our faith traditions, we have so much more in common than we realize. As I listened throughout the evening, the common thread that wove itself through our stories and our experiences and our diverse cultural backgrounds and the sacred texts we referenced was this: God's deepest desire is for us to know that we are loved, and to love one another.
